It is a subdivision with private roads and its own nature areas. Part of the Duneland School System, it is serviced by the Porter County Police and the Liberty Township Fire Department. The neighborhood is centrally located between downtown Chesterton and Valparaiso with major shopping and a wide selection of convenient restaurants located within a five mile radius.  Northwest Health Porter Hospital lies just three miles East.
